Escrow Protection



DallasForHire offers escrow protection to all members as an optional way to ensure that a project is completed before receiving final payment. Once a service project has been created, the escrow system provides financial protection for both the Service Buyer and the Service Provider. By holding the agreed service project funds in a neutral 3rd-party escrow account until the Service Provider has completed the project.

Both members can then view the transaction details in the escrow account (by logging in to the DallasForHire member area. Only the Service Buyer can complete the payment. The Service Provider is the only person (other than DallasForHire staff) who can cancel this escrow payment. This gives each party half of the control over the money in the escrow account.

This eliminates problems that could otherwise interfere with proper payment. Every member of the Service Auction community has access to these optional services via their account manager and is recommended to use them.
